Philips DreamMapper requires the following permissions:

<ul>
 <li>Location - Approximate location (network-based). This is necessary for setting up Bluetooth communication and requires access to location information for pairing purposes.</li>
 <li>Photos/Media/Files - Read the contents of your USB storage. This is needed to access and retrieve scanned images of the Device Serial Number (DSN).</li>
 <li>Camera - Take pictures and videos. This permission is used to scan the DSN.</li>
 <li>Other reasons - Receive data from the Internet (for communication with the Data Center), view network connections (for Wi-Fi setup and communication with the Data Center), pair with Bluetooth devices (for initial connection to another Bluetooth device), access Bluetooth settings (for initial connection to another Bluetooth device), full network access (for communication with the Data Center), and prevent device from sleeping (to prevent the phone from going to sleep while playing videos).</li>
</ul>
